What is a reverse outline?

Reverse outlining is a process that helps you to see if your essay is cohesive. It consists of you noting the main arguments of each point in your essay to see if your writing has a flow. Reverse outlining can help arrange your points, check for topic sentences, and check to see if you are fulfilling your thesis statement.
